Donwyn Creations is made up of a mother/daughter team who live & work together, while operating a 501c3 feline sanctuary for displaced ferals/special needs kitties on the farm. Wendy is the daughter who starting creating fairy dwellings inspired by a book which was given to her by her mother. She ventured into the craft show venue with her mother by her side, helping in every way. In 2007, Wendy opened a shop on Etsy as Thefaerywatcher which is still open today. Enjoying sales to places such as Australia, France, & The Netherlands, she has formed many friendships to those she has sold to. While keeping true to the fairies she once created for, Wendy has expanded into such things as dollhouse miniatures, shadowboxes, dresser trays, and even some handmade supplies. Always keeping to the fantasy theme which she loves so much! Donna is the mother who, because of her love of nature & gardening, decided one day to make a woodland fairy bed. It was at that moment that The Catslave was born, filling her own Etsy shop in 2010. Donna quickly moved from woodland miniatures to fascinators, then everything came to a screeching halt. Donna had just discovered Steampunk! By the winter of 2010, and without any training in jewelry or metals, she began creating the most exceptional steampunk pieces. While selling to far off lands such as Italy & the UK, her imagination lead her to create "The Time Writer". This has become her signature piece and is a very sought after creation. In 2011, the two ladies combined their talents and set off on the show trail together as Donwyn Creations. "Don" is for Donna and "Wyn" is for Wendy. They have recently added costumes to their own wardrobes as each artist dresses the part. Donna portrays steampunk and wears her attire quite well, while Wendy shows her Renaissance side with a little steampunk flair to match. These two ladies are living the life of time travelers, selling their wares, and meeting interesting people along the way.
